Brrrr… It’s Cold Outside!

It’s been cold and windy on the farm. Barbie writes to us this week about how the weather has been quite chilling to the bones. But despite the cold the sun has been shining bright and shedding some warmth - even if just by a fraction. Barbie has been able to keep warm inside the milk house where she imagines the cows to be laying happily in their stalls, eating hay, and smiling feeling very thankful for the warmth of the building.

Katrina welcomed 11 new puppies at the beginning of the new year and they are growing fast! They are all content and happy pups who are doted on by their loving Mama. And Dexter, the newest member to join the farm, is sure to be great guard dog, using his big and boisterous voice to let everyone know he's around!

A sweet sentiment from our precious Barbie really hits home. It really is your outlook and perspective that can bring joy and happiness to your life every day. Hence...

'Tis the song you sing

And the smile you wear

That makes the sun shine everywhere

How do you prepare liver? I personally LOVE liver and onions! I saute thinly sliced sweet onions in raw grass-fed butter until soft and translucent. Then I add in sliced liver, seasoned with salt, pepper and onion powder. TIP: Slice the liver into strips while it is still partially frozen.
