Goodbye 2019... Hello 2020!

Can you believe that today is the last day of 2019? Boy, time sure has flown by - "like on wings" as Barbie describes in this week's newsletter. As we reflect on this past year and everything that as transpired - the joyful times, sorrows and losses, days full of smiles and laughter, struggles and tears - let us ponder on Barbie's words....

"Through it all may we be closer to the One above - as we commit ourselves into His hands we want to beware - concentrate on good deeds - as we strive to live a godly life."

There has been no snow on the farm, and yesterday's rains brought in a dense fog. Great for privacy as Barbie shares it is something they rarely have. The feeling of isolation is welcomed, and now that Christmas has passed, they can finally relax and enjoy the birds and hopefully winter - if it ever comes!

Organic oranges and organic tangerines are now 5¢ off per pound this week - now $1.70/lb and $1.90/lb respectively. Due to receiving some bad fruit (and having to sort through it to find the good ones) and being overcharged, Farmer John has decided to part with this source and find another one for the organic fruit if the matter isn't rectified in a satisfactory manner. We will keep you updated! Until then, enjoy the savings on the oranges and tangerines!

From the entire Esh Family, Andi and myself - we'd like to wish all of you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So Long Summer

September... The time of year when the nights begin to get cooler and the breezes lighter. Insects seem less pesky and the world a bit quieter. But work on the farm keeps going and it has been quite a blessing to have so much to do and provide for the Green Hills Farm loyal customers.

Brilliant Splendor of Days on the Farm

Love is in the air... and so is rain! Barbie shares with us the love and grace that the Lord has blessed upon the Esh's. The abundant rains over the past weeks have brought forth life, providing food and nourishment for the animals as they prepare for winter storage.
